How to Play Chuugoku Janshi Story: Tonpuu
Quick start
Select "START" using SELECT on the title and start the game with START. If you want to change the rules, first check "CONFIG" and check the Tofeng match, Tonan match, etc. First, look at the tiles in your hand, select unnecessary tiles, and create a hand by discarding tiles with A. When you can go up, declare Tsumo Ron with B. Once you have tenpai, you can check the waiting tiles by pressing SELECT. For Tenjin Jizou, press Up and A at the same time, but there is a probability based on the spirit value on the screen, so don't rely on it and proceed with normal handicrafts as if you are guaranteed to get it.
Controls
A: Determine the combination of discarded tiles, Tsumo, Qi Kang, and send messages. B: Declaration of settlement (Tsumo Ron). Directional keys Up: Reach, Down: Knock, Right: Pon, Left: Chi. Press up + A at the same time: Tenjin self-drawing. SELECT: Determine game mode and rule settings, check waiting tiles when tenpai. START: Game start, pause during play.

This is a mahjong game that depicts the protagonist's struggle to save his younger sister by competing in a tournament in which the winner's wish will be granted. The game is a two-player game against the computer, where you first defeat your tournament opponent, then compete against the mahjong players waiting in the mahjong tower. A standard game against Tofeng ends with just Higashiba, so it is important to find a balance between hitting and defending in a short match. In the settings, you can also switch to the Tonan match and various rules. The protagonist has a numerical value that indicates his or her spirit, and ``Tenjin Jiyu'' aims to win with a probability corresponding to that value, creating a strategy different from normal handmade games. However, it is not a panacea that will solve the problem even when there are no winning tiles left or when there is a free ten. It also has functions to help you play the game, such as being able to check the waiting tiles when you are at the top of your game.
