How to Play Claymore: Gingan no Majo
Quick start
Begin Clare's opening stage, practice attacks and jumps, then try a modest Yoki release. Watch the gauge and reduce the release before it becomes unsafe.
Controls
Use the displayed directional and sword/jump controls. Adjust the Yoki-release gauge on the DS touch screen; read your current control layout for evasion and special moves rather than keeping the gauge at maximum.
Claymore: Gingan no Majo — About this game
Gingan no Majo adapts Claymore as a stage-based side-scrolling action game. Clare cuts through Yoma toward bosses, with sword techniques supporting the basic attack. The lower-screen Yoki gauge makes power a decision: releasing it strengthens attacks and recovery, but excessive release risks awakening and game over. Start by learning ordinary strikes and jumps before raising the gauge, and leave room to reduce it rather than treating maximum power as a safe default. Look at the gauge as well as the enemy when a fight intensifies.
