How to Play Cleopatra no Mahou
Quick start
Press START on the title to begin. In Kisa town, first buy a knife at Muhammad's weapon shop. He runs away without fighting with his bare hands, and after acquiring equipment, he collects experience points and funds by dealing with weak and unscrupulous merchants. You can get information about new destinations by visiting stores and listening to their stories. If you select "Proceed", press B to switch the direction of the arrow, and press A to proceed. When your physical strength is low, don't force yourself to return to the inn and prepare for the next exploration.
Controls
Cross button: Command selection. A: Execute, continue message, respond to "PUSH A" instruction. B: Display another command when the mark appears. When "Proceed" is selected, press B to switch the direction of travel, and press A to proceed. START: Start from title, cancel command. To save and resume, use the "save/load" command.
Cleopatra no Mahou — About this game
Daisuke Kusano visits Egypt with his father, an archaeologist, and encounters an incident where a seal is broken at an excavation site and his father is possessed by an evil spirit. The way to help is to find the ``Tears of Isis'' and borrow Cleopatra's power. It combines the elements of an adventure game where you collect information in the city, and the elements of an RPG where you prepare equipment and defeat enemies to grow. The number of places you can move increases through interviews and investigations, and you need to be careful about commands that appear only on the spot and how to use your belongings. There is a limit to the amount of things you can bring, including weapons and armor, so be sure to organize your tools and secure lodging expenses as you expand the scope of your exploration.
