Controls
Use the stylus to tap, trace or slide on the touch screen as shown. Follow each step's arrows and timing, including any requested microphone action, and return to the menu for recipe choices.
Cooking Mama — About this game
The original Cooking Mama breaks a dish into small preparation and cooking activities. Trace a cut, tap to chop or slide to stir as the current step indicates, then put the parts together for Mama's evaluation. A familiar ingredient can require a different action in another recipe, so watch the demonstration rather than rushing from memory. Begin with an available dish and practice the step that caused trouble before trying the whole sequence again. As recipes develop, experimenting with the available combinations gives the kitchen another reason to revisit earlier dishes.
