How to Play Cosmic Epsilon

Quick start

Always use the cross keys to make small movements to maintain a space where enemy bullets and your aircraft do not overlap. The basic idea is not only to fire continuously, but also to hold down A to create the maximum beam, and then release it just before the boss's weak point opens. B's tracking missile can be saved for situations where you want to concentrate on evading enemies through rocks or obstacles. Collect shields and supply items, such as the flashing triangles on the second screen, before entering the danger zone.

Controls

Use the cross keys to operate the menu and your aircraft up/down/left/right. A is a beam fire, and if you hold it down, it becomes a charge fire. B is a homing missile with a remaining number system. Start/pause with START. It is stated in the dedicated strategy that SELECT is used to switch the game speed, but please use it while checking the speed difference.

Cosmic Epsilon — About this game

``Cosmic Epsilon'' is a shooting game for the Famicom that takes on the challenge of creating deep pseudo-3D expressions. Move your robot-like aircraft around the screen and advance through 8 stages, including the ground, space, ice, and rocky areas, and destroy enemy defense networks. A's beam can be held down to accumulate power, and B's homing missiles are limited in number, so it's important to use them properly. Terrain obstacles such as force fields, volcanoes, and tornadoes cannot be destroyed, and bosses must identify vulnerable moments and weak points such as openings and eyes.
