How to Play Cosmo Police Galivan
Quick start
Press A to jump, press B to attack with the blade, and collect the objects dropped by the enemy by hitting them with the blade. At first, collect experience points and P chips by defeating nearby enemies, and activate reinforced clothes with 8 chips. Check blades, weapons, and items on the START status screen, and normal exploration will prioritize blades that do not consume. Press down and talk to the prisoner a little further away, and use the information you get to find the elevator and gate.
Controls
Use the left and right arrow keys to move, and use the bottom to crouch. Press up and down on the elevator to go up and down, and press down near the prisoner to talk to him. A is a jump whose height changes depending on the length of the press, B is the selected blade/weapon, and Up+B is an upward slash. Transfer by pressing A+B while jumping in front of the warp gate. START displays the status screen, and SELECT switches between blades, weapons, and items.
Cosmo Police Galivan — About this game
The Famicom version of "Cosmopolis Galivan" is a reconfiguration of the arcade version into an exploration-type action RPG. Gallivan traverses six large areas, searching for prisoners and bosses using elevators, warp gates, and hidden passages. When you defeat enemies, you gain experience points, and as your level increases, your maximum HP and CP grow. Equip reinforced clothing that halves damage with 8 P chips, and select items such as multiple blades, special weapons that consume CP, keys and recovery depending on the situation.
