How to Play Countdown - The Game
Quick start
Start with a training letters round, select letters and enter a valid word before time expires. Try the numbers controls before beginning a full contest.
Controls
Tap letters with the stylus to spell words and Conundrum answers. In numbers rounds, select available numbers and arithmetic operations through the displayed controls; watch the clock while entering.
Countdown - The Game — About this game
Countdown brings the television contest's letters, numbers and Conundrum to the DS touch screen. Build the longest valid word from selected vowels and consonants, then combine the supplied numbers with arithmetic to approach a target. The last challenge is to unscramble a nine-letter word. Training lets you focus on one round type before a full contest. Enter answers while time remains rather than treating the clock as thinking time followed by a separate writing period. A shorter correct word can be a better first entry than an unfinished ambitious one.
