How to Play Cybernoid: The Fighting Machine
Quick start
Select Easy for a first run. In the opening rooms, use short upward taps rather than holding thrust, then release to let gravity lower the ship into a safe firing line. Keep the standard laser active against ordinary pirates and save limited weapons for fixed defenses or crowded screens. Collect dropped cargo only when the approach is safe: losing a ship for a low-value item costs more than it gains. If weapon selection becomes awkward, pause, cycle to the needed item, and resume.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: move horizontally. D-pad Up: thrust upward; release Up to descend under gravity. A: fire the unlimited laser. SELECT: cycle through collected special weapons or the shield; on the selection screen it cycles Easy, Hard and Lethal. B: fire or activate the selected special item. START: begin, pause or resume. While paused, A switches between music-plus-effects and effects-only sound.
Cybernoid: The Fighting Machine — About this game
Cybernoid: The Fighting Machine is a demanding flip-screen shooter set inside three asteroid storage complexes overrun by Zoggian pirates. Your craft can thrust upward but falls when thrust is released, so every room is a compact navigation puzzle as well as a firefight. The permanent laser handles ordinary targets, while limited bombs, screen-clearing genocide missiles, bouncing shots, seekers, shields, a rear gun and the CyberMace answer different threats. Destroy pirates, recover their dropped cargo and reach the end of each level within the time limit; some hazards cannot be destroyed and must be threaded past. Easy, Hard and Lethal settings alter the pressure and scoring.
