How to Play Daisenryaku
Quick start
Load the map with MAP LOAD, set BLUE to USER, RED to FAMICON, and start with START. Beginners will find it easier to advance by setting their money to 100 and securing income. Produce infantry, send them to a neutral base, and explicitly end their movement on the base to occupy it. Each turn, check your supplies before moving, and when you have finished your instructions, proceed to your opponent's turn with the "End" command.
Controls
Move the cursor with the cross button, press A to confirm, and press B to cancel the command. SELECT before the start selects the BLUE/RED operator, and START starts the game. Movement, production, supply, etc. of troops can be selected from commands. Select "End" to end your turn. If you start moving while in contact with an enemy, you can try to avoid it only once by canceling the enemy list with B, then canceling the end of the movement with B, and then entering the direction of movement.
Daisenryaku — About this game
The Famicom version of ``Grand Strategy'' is a war simulation in which the Blue Army and Red Army move their units against each other. Operate tanks, aircraft, and infantry on 30 different maps and aim to capture enemy capitals. Securing cities leads to income, but simply increasing your military strength is not enough to win. The order of marching and resupply is important, as fuel is used for movement and replenishment must occur before movement. Expand your front lines by combining base capture with infantry and engineers, defense that takes advantage of the terrain, and use of transport troops.
