How to Play The Dark Spire
Quick start
Start New Game and meet guildmaster Eventail. Choose the prepared four-person party or build your own, then check its equipment and order. Read the Guild’s Info before entering Tower. Explore the first floor cautiously, use X to investigate what is ahead and Y to check the map, and save through the system menu before taking risks.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move or choose commands and A to confirm, open doors or move forward. B cancels selections and opens the command menu during exploration. X investigates or shows information; Y opens the map. START opens the system menu, including Save/Load. Check the command context before using an item or spell.
The Dark Spire — About this game
The Dark Spire returns to the methodical rhythm of early dungeon RPGs. Choose prepared adventurers or create your own, balancing classes, equipment and party order before entering the tower. Corridors hide doors, clues and hazards that require investigation rather than simply following a marker. Battles use commands, making preparation and a safe route back to town essential. Its modern artwork and classic wireframe presentation offer different ways to view the same demanding exploration.
