How to Play Dawn of Discovery
Quick start
Begin with the story tutorial and follow the first settlement assignments. Open the build menu with Y, choose the requested structure, drag it into place, lift the stylus and tap the checkmark. Check production and residents' needs before adding more. Tap a ship and drag to move it when the mission introduces sailing; use X and B to find ships and warehouses again.
Controls
Tap menus with the stylus. Drag empty ground to scroll. For construction, choose an item, drag its building into position, lift and tap the checkmark; tap an existing building for options or hold for a tooltip. Tap and drag a ship to move it. Y opens Build, A opens Trade, X cycles ships, B cycles warehouses, L/R change zoom and START opens the menu.
Dawn of Discovery — About this game
A food crisis sends you out to establish island colonies and support a struggling kingdom. The DS adventure breaks settlement building into story assignments that introduce its economy step by step. You develop production, provide for residents and unlock more options as the settlement grows, with island space eventually shaping which industries fit together. Sailing links the colonies and also supports treasure hunts, where a map can lead to a prize that corsairs want as well. The touch interface lets you inspect buildings, arrange construction and move ships, while shortcuts help manage a wider island network. Success comes from keeping useful production running as you expand, rather than covering every empty patch with buildings immediately.
