How to Play de Blob 2
Quick start
Begin the first story stage and follow Pinky's objectives. Try a normal jump, pick up a paint colour and check a nearby matching object. When an enemy is marked in midair, press jump again for a homing attack. Practise the downward pound separately, then look for a route to a trapped Graydian.
Controls
Move with the D-pad and press A to jump. While airborne, press A again when a nearby enemy has the automatic target marker to home in. Press B in midair to pound downward. Use jumps against walls to climb and change paint at jets or paintbots; matching your colour to a platform or switch determines whether it works.
de Blob 2 — About this game
The DS version of de Blob 2 is a side-scrolling adventure with its own story. Blob and Pinky pursue Dr. Von Blot while rescuing Graydians and collecting musical notes. Paint changes more than the scenery: a colour can activate a switch, make a phantom platform solid or let Blob defeat a matching enemy. Wall jumps and an automatic homing target help him cross the route, while a downward pound handles sturdier obstacles. Searching side paths for citizens and special notes gives another reason to look beyond the next exit.
