Begin the first stage and practice swimming, landing on a platform and a spin attack. Watch how the character recovers before spinning again. Explore side passages for collectibles, use Stapy where available for a different approach and review a special ability before spending its resource.
Controls
Use DS directional controls for land movement and swimming, and the displayed action inputs for jumping and spinning. Follow the current menu when selecting a character or special ability. Avoid chaining spins without watching recovery; special abilities use their own displayed resource rather than unlimited ordinary attacks.
Densetsu no Stafy 4 — About this game
Densetsu no Stafy 4 brings the star-shaped platform adventure to DS with land and underwater movement. Start by learning how swimming speed and a landing differ, then use a spin to handle an enemy or a suitable obstacle. Repeated attacks are less helpful when they leave you recovering in danger. Explore side spaces for collectibles and inspect the route before committing to a jump. Stapy's different movement and the Spil abilities give further options, but special resources should be used with a purpose. Play the opening stage carefully and revisit a troublesome section with the appropriate ability. This is the Japanese fourth game, not the later Legendary Starfy adventure with a different partner and transformation system.
