How to Play Desert Strike Advance
Quick start
From the title screen, start the campaign, choose a co-pilot and read the mission briefing before launching. Your first job is to fly the Apache to the marked objectives, destroy the assigned targets and recover any listed personnel before returning them to a landing zone. Watch fuel, armour and ammunition on the map screen; rescue MIAs and POWs for useful resupply rewards, and approach each objective from a safe angle instead of hovering over concentrated fire.
Controls
Default controls: D-Pad Up/Down moves forward or back; Left/Right turns. A fires the machine guns, B fires Hydra missiles, and R fires heavy missiles. Hold L with the D-Pad to strafe. START pauses and opens the map. The Options menu offers four weapon layouts and three movement styles, so verify the selected configuration if the buttons differ.
