How to Play Digimon Battle Spirit
Quick start
Press START, choose the one-player story mode, select a Digimon and difficulty, then enter the first battle. The goal is not simply to empty a life bar: hit the opponent to release D-Spirits and collect more than they do before time expires. Learn one ground special and one air attack first, block when the opponent closes in, and touch Calumon when it appears to Digivolve temporarily.
Controls
D-Pad Left/Right moves; double-tap to run. Up + B and Down + B perform character-specific special attacks. A jumps; Down + A drops through a platform. B attacks, attacks while running or airborne, picks up an item while holding Down, and throws a held item. Hold Down to block, which uses evolution energy. L or R taunts. START pauses; the pause menu can continue or return to the title.
