Begin the story and learn a first command battle with your partner. Check the party and recovery items before exploring farther. When a DigiPlate is obtained, follow the repair tutorial, restore it carefully and fit it into the evolution tree before choosing an available development path.
Controls
Use DS direction and confirmation inputs for exploration and battle menus. Select a skill and its target before committing the turn. DigiPlate repair uses the stylus and the tool shown in its own panel; follow the current cleaning or restoration prompt, then select the matching place in the evolution tree.
Digimon Story Lost Evolution — About this game
Lost Evolution makes recovering the ability to evolve part of the adventure. Exploration and battles bring you toward DigiPlates, which must be restored with the DS stylus and fitted into an evolution tree. This is a separate task from merely gaining experience, so learn the repair panel before rushing through a damaged plate. In combat, compare skill coverage and party condition before choosing a target. Return to the development menus after a useful discovery and inspect what has become available. Begin with a balanced team and keep recovery resources for the next route. The plate-and-tree system distinguishes this entry from the earlier Dawn and Dusk pair and from the later DigiXros games.
