How to Play Digimon World Championship
Quick start
Begin the first raising period and inspect your Digimon's condition. Feed it, clean the area and choose a suitable training action before entering a manageable contest. Watch the battle play out, review what the creature lacked and return to care or hunting rather than issuing RPG attack commands every turn.
Controls
Use the DS stylus to select care tools and training options and apply them to the chosen Digimon. In hunting, follow the on-screen capture-tool instructions before attempting to secure a creature. Contest battles rely on your prior raising and the game's available support choices; they are not controlled like the World DS command RPG.
Digimon World Championship — About this game
World Championship is a raising-and-contest game with a different rhythm from the Digimon Story RPGs. Feeding, cleanliness and training are part of what you manage before a battle. Begin with the creature's condition and choose a manageable activity instead of sending an unprepared team straight into every contest. Hunting introduces capture tools and another source of Digimon, while the care area lets you shape development over time. Watch a contest to identify what needs work, then change the preparation rather than looking for a conventional attack menu. Keep daily needs and training balanced. The goal is to develop competitive creatures through repeated care and observation, not explore a story route with turn-by-turn skill commands.
