How to Play Digimon World DS
Quick start
Read the Digital World introduction and choose an available partner. Follow the first Tamer objective, learn attack and recovery in an early encounter and inspect collected scan data. Return to the base to review conversion and farm options before exploring a tougher route.
Controls
Use DS direction and confirmation controls to explore and choose battle commands. Select a Digimon's skill and the intended target area before confirming. Open the party or farm menu for training and development; evolving or returning to an earlier form is a menu decision with conditions, not a real-time action combo.
Digimon World DS — About this game
Digimon World DS is the first DS Digimon Story-style RPG, with exploration, scan-based collection and a farm for development. Begin with a partner and the first objective rather than trying to recruit every creature at once. Encounters contribute data, so review conversion options when enough has been gathered instead of looking for a thrown capture item. In battle, compare a skill's target coverage and the party's health before confirming. Return to farm and profile menus to plan training and changing forms. Tamer progress and new routes give longer-term goals while supplies support the next expedition. This original entry should not inherit Dawn/Dusk faction introductions, Lost Evolution's repair plates or Super Xros Wars' special fusion command.
