Quick start
Begin the story and read the first dinosaur battle instructions. Choose the available dinosaur and cards, then select a rock, paper or scissors action when asked. Watch the result before planning the next choice; if a special-attack gauge appears, learn its stop timing in a manageable encounter.
Controls
Use the DS selection controls for the dinosaur, card setup and the three battle choices. Confirm only after reading which action icon is highlighted. A special gauge uses the displayed timing input, distinct from choosing a hand. The cartridge manages its own card collection; no physical arcade card reader is required by this introduction.

Dino King Battle: Taiko kara no Hyouryuusha brings its card-battle theme into a DS story about displaced dinosaurs. Begin by learning the three-way choices and how winning an exchange gives your dinosaur an opportunity to act. Card setup and a special attack's timing add decisions beyond simply choosing a favorite creature. Watch the gauge rather than confirming automatically, and inspect an unsuccessful round before changing your whole setup. The story sends Takuya to help the captured professor and the dinosaurs, providing a route between battles and new cards. This is Taito's Dino King Battle adaptation, distinct from Sega's separate Dinosaur King RPG. Learn the cartridge's menus without expecting to scan physical arcade cards.
