How to Play Dokodemo Taikyoku: Yakuman Advance
Quick start
Select a single-player title, enable technical support if you are a beginner, and start a regular game or challenge mode. In the rule settings, you can make it easier to remember the flow by setting a longer time limit and turning on the bark command display and automatic tiles. At first, do not aim only for Yakuman, but aim to win with one role that is easy to establish, such as Yaku tiles, Tanyao, and Reach. Before cutting unnecessary tiles, check the waiting tiles and risk advice on the screen to reduce transfers.
Controls
Use the left and right arrow buttons to select the tiles in your hand, and use the up and down buttons to move commands and setting items. Discard/determine the tile with A, and confirm the displayed command such as Chi, Pon, Kang, Reach, Long, Tsumo, etc. Press B to cancel or postpone the command. L/R switches the hand tiles and candidate display according to the set operation type and screen guidance, and press START to enter the menu/pause during the game. SELECT is used in settings where an auxiliary display is assigned.
