How to Play Don Doko Don 2
Quick start
Move with the cross keys, jump with A, and swing the hammer with B. After crushing an enemy, approach it and pick it up, then press B to throw it to hit another enemy or obstacle. Collecting 10 red gems will restore 1 life, and 20 panels will increase your maximum life. In the early stages, it is safe to take a detour and secure treasure chests containing hearts and weapons.
Controls
D-pad: Move left and right, move up and down on ladders and terrain. A: Jump (Hold down to use jump platform). B: Attack with hammer/equipped weapon, crush and throw the lifted enemy, stop the slot switch. START: Start/Pause.
Don Doko Don 2 — About this game
``Dondocodon 2'' is a sequel exclusively for the Famicom that changes from the previous game's fixed screen to a side-scrolling format. Bob advances through the forest, mountains, ocean, etc. while crushing and throwing enemies with his hammer, defeating bosses and progressing through the story. A life system has been introduced, where you recover with gems and hearts, and collecting panels will increase your maximum life. Temporary weapons and hidden games, such as a staff that shoots fireballs and a long-range kendama, will also aid in your strategy.
