How to Play Donkey Kong Land III
Quick start
Press A or START at the title, choose an empty file and confirm with A. Select the first stage on the map and practise jumps before running. With Dixie, hold B in midair to slow your descent. Collect useful items as you head for the stage flag; save at Wrinkly's hideaway when it becomes available.
Controls
D-pad: move, climb and crouch. A: jump or swim. B: roll as Kiddy or spin as Dixie; hold while moving to run. With Dixie, hold B in the air to glide. Hold B to carry barrels and release to throw. SELECT: switch available Kongs. START: pause.
Donkey Kong Land III — About this game
This Japanese Game Boy Color edition follows Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong on a race to discover the Lost World. Explore platforming courses, collect bonus and DK coins and alternate between Dixie's gliding ponytail and Kiddy's rolling attack to cross difficult terrain.
Only the active Kong appears on screen, while the available partner provides a second chance after a hit. Bonus challenges and hidden collectibles encourage careful exploration beyond the direct route to the flag. This is the Japanese color edition titled Donkey Kong GB, with its own presentation rather than the earlier monochrome cartridge.
