How to Play Doraemon
Quick start
In the pioneering version, press A to jump, press B to shoot, and press A to enter doors and manholes anywhere. In the Makai edition, you can fire with either A or B, so alternate consecutive hits are effective. In the undersea version, A changes to a shot, and B changes to hold/place an item. First, search the 8 treasure chests and rescue Nobita, Suneo, and Gian.
Controls
Common: Use the cross key to move, START to pause, SELECT is usually unused. Development edition: A jump/enter the entrance, B shot. Demonic edition: Shot with A/B. Undersea edition: A shot, hold/place B item. If you are underwater on the ocean floor, you can jump higher by pressing the top button for a long time and heading towards the surface.
Doraemon — About this game
"Doraemon" Rev A is an official internally revised version of the Famicom version released by Hudson. The structure of the three formats, the Development Edition, the Demonic Region, and the Undersea Edition, and the content surrounding the movies ``Space Development History'', ``Great Demonic Region'', and ``Undersea Oniwa Castle'' are the same as the first edition. The development section focuses on jumping and shooting, the demonic section on forced scroll shooting, and the undersea section on carrying items and rescuing friends. Since we cannot confirm any game content changes specific to Rev A from the published materials, the operations will be described as common specifications.
