How to Play Doremikko
Quick start
Load side A, select the door with the beginner mark in the center using the cross keys at the title, and proceed to the magical forest with START. Follow the instructions on the screen to switch sides. Match Dre-chan with the treasure box and select a song with A or B. If you want to listen to the model performance first, press START with the speaker lamp off. If you want to play in an environment that supports keyboard input, turn on the red lamp by pressing A or B according to the speaker, start the accompaniment by pressing START, and play while watching the keyboard guide on the screen.
Controls
The melody is played on the special Dore Mikko keyboard. Controller's cross key: Move Dre-chan and select doors, treasure chests, speakers, and settings. Enter by pressing START in the title, and operate treasure chests and speakers by pressing A or B. Show/close the switch panel with SELECT in the Magic Forest or Piano Hall. Adjust A to make it faster and B to make it slower according to the tempo fader. In the piano hall tone field, switch between PIANO and ORGAN with A/B. The performance effects of Controller II are pitch bend for A, vibrato for B, octave change for left and right, and sustain for up and down. During automatic performance, only A/B effect operations in II are valid.
Doremikko — About this game
"DoRemicco" is FDS music software that brings together the fun of listening to songs, playing along with accompaniment, and recording your own performances. In Magic Forest, for beginners, you can choose a song from a treasure chest and practice while watching the on-screen keyboard guide. You can also listen to the automatic performance first to check the melody and timing. In the piano hall, chords are played using the tones of the piano and organ, and in the concert hall, the performance progresses to a combination of instruments and accompaniment. Each also has a studio screen, so you can try out recording and playback. Inputting the melody using the keyboard and adjusting the tone and tempo using the controller have different roles. Because the original DoReMikko keyboard is used to play the original work, it is not a software that only uses the normal A and B buttons for notes.
