Select "From the beginning" as the title and begin Tama-chan's story. Proceed to the first destination indicated in the conversation and collect the ingredients and recipe for the first specified sweet while talking to the residents along the way. Ingredients are numbered 1 to 20 in the recipe book, and the actual sweets to be made are numbered 21 and onwards. The basic flow is that when you get new ingredients, you go back and try cooking them, and then give them to the story request. While exploring, you can collect recipes by visiting side streets that are easy to overlook and places that can be investigated.

Use the cross button to move and select menus. A is the main action for each scene, such as making a decision, having a conversation, and examining what's in front of you. Press B to cancel, return to the previous screen, and sub-actions for each scene. Open Pause/Menu with START and check the ingredients and recipes you have collected. For cooking and mini-games, the necessary directions and buttons will be displayed for each step, so prioritize the instructions on the screen. Use L/R/SELECT only when instructed to do so.
