How to Play Dr. Muto
Quick start
Press START, choose an empty save slot and begin the story. After the accident leaves only the laboratory intact, follow A.L.’s messages through the lab and use the first transformation station to obtain the mouse form. Practise moving through the small passages before taking the lift to the first outside stage. Each of the thirteen stages asks you to collect the required matter or device parts and reach the exit; search side paths for DNA, isotopes, scrap and Terra pieces. When a route looks impossible for Muto, change to the form whose size or movement ability fits the obstacle.
Controls
D-pad moves Dr. Muto and selects menu items. A and B perform the two context-sensitive platform actions used for jumping, grabbing or using an object and each form’s special ability; the active action is introduced by the game when that ability becomes available. START pauses and opens the status menu, where collected items and stage progress are shown. Use L/R to cycle or change among unlocked forms when the form selector is available. Menu choices use D-pad, A to confirm and B to go back.
