How to Play Dragon Ball 3: Gokuu Den
Quick start
On the map, compare your destination and the number of stars on your card, and complete your training and recovery before facing a strong enemy. Use the cross keys to move/cursor, A to make decisions and send conversations, and B to cancel. You can check the level, special moves, cards, overall map, and password from the SELECT menu. In battle, choose not only the highest star but also the compatibility with the kanji side, and save the special attack points until the boss.
Controls
Move Goku and the cursor using the cross keys. Press A to make a selection, have a conversation, or send a command. Cancel with B. Open the menu with SELECT and check the overall map, status, special moves, cards, and passwords. START determines the mode on the title screen. Select movement/battle cards using the cross keys, confirm with A, and return with B.
Dragon Ball 3: Gokuu Den — About this game
"Dragon Ball 3 Gokuden" is a card RPG for the Famicom that depicts Goku from his childhood to his adulthood. On the map, you advance by the number of stars of the selected card, and in events, conversations and investigations, and in battle, you select cards by reading the stars that indicate attack power and the kanji that indicate defense and actions. Raise your level with training points and learn new special moves at turning points in the story. Using help cards and item cards, you will overcome the Usagi Gang, the Pilaf Pirates, the Red Ribbon Army, and more to pursue the seven Dragon Balls and the revival of the Budokai.
