How to Play Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warriors
Quick start
Begin the story and follow Gohan’s opening training with Piccolo. Read the attack and defense prompts, practise the displayed command sequence and check ability costs before selecting a card. Use the opening battle to learn the turn rhythm before changing your deck.
Controls
Direction pad: move on maps or choose commands. A: confirm and advance messages. B: cancel or return to the previous system screen. START starts the game and displays card details on the system screen. SELECT is unused. Enter command-card sequences as displayed.

Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warriors turns the battles of Dragon Ball Z into a card-driven strategy game for Game Boy Color. Choose actions during alternating attack and defense phases, manage card costs and develop a collection of fighters and abilities.
Command cards require timed button sequences and help build the points needed for other actions. Damage attacks, energy attacks, defensive cards and support effects serve different purposes, so preparing a balanced selection matters as much as choosing a familiar fighter.
