How to Play Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime
Quick start
Start a new game and use the palace-garden leaf challenge to practise Elasto Blast: hold A, choose a direction and release A. After the Plob attack, explore Forewood Forest, break slime chests and carry rescued friends to a trolley. Tank battles arrive later in the adventure.
Controls
D-Pad: move. A: jump; hold A in the air to float. Hold A plus a direction, then release A: Elasto Blast. B: throw the bottom object in your stack. R: move the bottom object to the top. START: pause/menu.

Rocket turns his stretchy body into a weapon as he searches for the slimes kidnapped from Boingburg. An Elasto Blast breaks containers and knocks objects into the air, where Rocket can catch them in a stack above his head. Sending rescued friends and useful finds home by trolley makes exploration worthwhile. Later, tank battles put that same carrying and throwing system under pressure: collected objects become ammunition, and moving around the tank matters as much as firing its cannons.
