How to Play Dragonology
Quick start
Accept the first expedition, read its goal and buy the requested supplies. Search the connected areas for clues, complete one evidence interaction and note where useful signs accumulate. Approach the dragon only after understanding what that expedition asks you to do.
Controls
Use the DS directional pad or the available stylus movement to explore. Select a marked clue with the displayed interaction, then follow its short touch-screen exercise. Some activities use the microphone. The game changes input by task, so read the current prompt before a dragon encounter or evidence examination.
Dragonology — About this game
Dragonology is an expedition adventure inspired by the books, with active searching and short interaction tasks. Purchase the supplies for a mission, explore linked areas and examine traces that may belong to the dragon you seek. Once enough relevant evidence is gathered, the dragon encounter asks for the expedition's goal, such as a photograph or capture activity. Watch the time limit and avoid repeatedly investigating an unrelated sign when a useful trail leads elsewhere. The changing touch exercises make collecting evidence part of play rather than simply reading an encyclopedia entry. Begin with the opening tutorial and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
