How to Play Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter
Quick start
Complete the introduction, draw and name your hero, then accept the task to find Heather's pendant in the Forgotten Library below deck. Draw the basic platform when prompted and practise B jumps followed by a second B for extra height. Stand on an Action Draw Altar and press A to enter its puzzle; draw a route toward the exit while watching ink, erasing or resetting when needed.
Controls
DS: D-pad moves; B jumps and B again in the air double-jumps. Y attacks. Hold L to open the weapon menu and select with the D-pad. Stand on an Action Draw Altar and press A to activate it, then draw on the touch screen; the eraser removes drawn objects and reset restarts the puzzle. After alternate forms are unlocked, hold R and choose a form with the D-pad.
Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter — About this game
Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter continues the DS adventure with a world drained of color and a new journey for the Creator's hero. Your drawings customize characters and useful objects, while action-drawing altars let you place platforms during specific puzzles. Ink is limited, so a practical route matters more than filling every empty space. Color drops help restore regions and reopen the way forward, and the traveling Turtle Rock provides a base between communities. Weapons and later alternate forms add ways to handle enemies and obstacles. The DS game uses stylus drawing alongside button-driven platform action, with its own story and stages rather than the Wii adventure's route.
