Quick start
Choose a performer and begin a practice or introductory routine. Watch one cue at a time, learn when the target expects input and complete a short sequence before trying a longer performance. Read the result and repeat the section that broke your timing.
Controls
Choose an instrument or performance task through the DS touch menu. Follow its note, pad, key or gesture prompts in time with the song; guitar, drums and keyboard do not all use the same input. Use a microphone instruction only when the selected task displays it, and learn one instrument before switching roles.

Pop Star follows a band's performance journey, with several instrument roles to learn. Choose a name and look, practice a song part and watch its timing cues before trying another role. Guitar, drums and keyboard provide different interactions, so improvement comes from reading the current pattern rather than treating every instrument as the same tapping game. Performance rewards can support new outfits or instruments, while a recording-studio activity gives space to arrange a tune. Begin with one manageable part and build the band's presentation around a performance you can complete. Begin with the opening tutorial and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
