How to Play Droopy's Tennis Open
Quick start
Press START and complete the five training drills before entering the tournament. The lessons cover basic returns, lobs, volleys, smashes and the special meter; after training, win the first-round match to begin the bracket. Move into position early and press the shot button before the ball arrives, because a longer preparation produces a harder return. Use A for a direct shot or smash and B when a lob or drop shot will pull the opponent out of position. Build the six-part meter through aces and strong returns, then save L or R for an important point.
Controls
D-pad moves around the court and sets the return’s direction and speed. A returns, volleys and smashes; on serve, press A once to start the power meter and again at the desired strength. B returns and produces a lob or drop shot according to position and timing. L uses a Special Attack when the six-part meter is full. If the meter is filled twice, R uses the Ultimate Attack; alternatively, spend it on two L attacks. START pauses and menu choices use D-pad, A confirm and B back.
