How to Play Dynowarz: Destruction of Spondylus
Quick start
Press Start and advance right through the opening Cyborasaurus section. Use punches against nearby targets, collect dropped weapon upgrades, and save the satellite defense for a crowded or dangerous moment because it is available once per stage. Inside bases, control Professor Proteus, jump carefully between platforms, fire before enemies close in, and defeat the base guardian to return to dinosaur scale.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: move; Down: crouch; A: jump; B: punch in close combat or fire the current weapon; Down + A: drop through or jump down where supported by the stage. In Dinosaur Mode, Select activates the screen-clearing satellite defense once per stage. Start begins and pauses play.
Dynowarz: Destruction of Spondylus — About this game
Dynowarz: Destruction of Spondylus alternates between two styles of side-scrolling action. Professor Proteus explores each enemy base in a compact battle suit, jumping between platforms and firing at mechanical defenses; outside, he pilots the giant Cyborasaurus through battles against towering robot dinosaurs. Defeated enemies can yield upgrades for the dinosaur's close-range and projectile attacks, and each base ends with a large guardian. The US NES version is a single-player campaign built around learning when to use reach, movement, and the dinosaur's once-per-stage satellite defense.
