Quick start
Choose Start and begin in Jim's hometown. Practice B jumps and A firing, collect 15 power cells and find the interdimensional transporter. Stand in front of the portal and press up once its energy requirement is met.
Controls
Left/right moves Jim, down crouches or slides while running, and up enters doors or portals. B jumps; hold up and press B for a high jump. A fires the weapon or uses Snot. SELECT changes weapons and START pauses. Jim grabs chains automatically.

Check the cell total before leaving a route unexplored. If a portal reports that you need more, return to the stage instead of repeatedly trying the exit. Running makes jumps travel farther, and an upward input adds a high jump for difficult ledges. Chains and sliding give additional ways through the scenery. The chase asks you to combine these movements with careful weapon use rather than racing straight past the collectibles.
