Quick start

Choose a one- or two-player mode, wait for the starter's flag, then hold A to accelerate and steer with the D-pad. Use B only when you have nitro in stock. Finish ahead to earn the larger purse, then spend carefully on repairs and upgrades in the drydock.

Controls

D-pad Left/Right: steer during races; D-pad also navigates drydock choices. A: accelerator; also confirms a drydock purchase or exit. B: use a stocked nitro boost; also confirms in the drydock. Start: pause. Select: no in-race function. Controller 2 is used for the second player.

Eliminator Boat Duel — About this game

Eliminator Boat Duel is an arcade-style NES powerboat racer built around three-race matchups against a succession of colourful opponents. Courses shift between side, overhead, and behind-the-boat views, while collisions damage the hull and clean section wins add bonus cash. Prize money can repair the boat or improve its engine, acceleration, hull, and steering before the next duel. This record is the European PAL release; the consulted manual documents the same core rules and controller layout, and no reliable source identified a regional gameplay change.
