How to Play ESPN International Winter Sports 2002
Quick start
Choose Trial Mode, then Ski Jumping K=90 to learn the timing system without committing to all ten Championship events. When the wind arrow points exactly left, hold L+R; release both near the end of the take-off gauge, then tap Up/Down in flight to keep the angle at zero. You get two jumps, so aim for two clean “Good” timings and a combined medal score.
Controls
Menus use the D-pad, A to confirm and B to return; START pauses an event. Controls change by event: K=90 jump holds/releases L+R and balances with Up/Down; Alpine Downhill steers Left/Right and holds A to crouch; Short Track and Luge tap A for speed; Halfpipe selects with A then enters D-pad tricks; Biathlon alternates a direction and A, then shoots with A. The event’s instruction screen gives the active set.
