How to Play F1 Championship Season 2000
Quick start
Choose Quick Race and a dry-weather setting to learn the circuit. Wait for the lights to go out before accelerating. Practice a clean lap, watch the tyre and fuel display, then try qualifying in a championship.
Controls
A accelerates, B brakes and left/right steers. START pauses and opens race options. In the pause screen, B retires from the race, so use it deliberately. SELECT has no driving action. Menus use the D-pad and A.

Learn a track in dry conditions before adding rain to the problem. Brake before tight corners and accelerate once the exit opens. Tyre wear reduces grip, so a car that felt predictable early in a race can become harder to turn later. Watch fuel and tyre indicators and use the pits when needed. In qualifying, a clear lap gives a better starting position than chasing contact with another car.
