How to Play Famicom Wars
Quick start
At first, choose a small map and use your infantry to capture nearby cities and factories. Move the cursor with the D-pad and select the unit with A to decide where to move and what actions to take. Press B to open undo or global commands. Don't just spend money on tanks, combine infantry, indirect attacks, and supplies.
Controls
Cross key: Map cursor/menu movement. A: Unit selection, movement destination/command decision. B: Cancel, display submenu during turn. Select: Return cursor to capital/speed up performance. Start：ポーズ。
Famicom Wars — About this game
"Famicom Wars" is a turn-based strategy game for the Famicom in which the Red Star Army and Blue Moon Army take turns. Capture cities and factories with infantry to increase daily income and supply bases, and deploy tanks, artillery, aircraft, ships, etc. as appropriate for the terrain. The basic victory condition is to capture the capital or annihilate the enemy army, and it is important not only to line up strong weapons, but also to create a front line while maintaining fuel, ammunition, and the number of troops.
