How to Play Famista '90
Quick start
If it's your first time, check the operation with a short match before the league match. When at bat, adjust your position using the cross keys, press A to swing, and press B to bunt. When pitching, use Direction +A to separate fastballs and breaking balls, and after hitting the ball, use Direction +A to throw the ball to the target base. Runners should advance with B, and if in danger, return with A. If you take your time from START and try pinch-hitting or pitching changes early, it will be easier to remember how the game goes.
Controls
To bat, use the cross keys to move the batter, press A to swing, and press B to bunt. To pitch, adjust the position and pitch using the cross keys, press A to throw, press up + A to throw a slow ball, press left/right + A to change the pitch, and press down + A to fastball. For defense, use the D-pad to move, and press Direction + A to throw the ball (right = first base, top = second base, left = third base, bottom = home base). For base running, press B to advance, press A to return to base, align the direction, and specify the target runner. START calls the time and player substitutions.
Famista '90 — About this game
"Famista '90" is the annual version of Famista that uses player data based on the 1990 season and allows you to play everything from one match to continuous league matches. Adopting a top-down defense style typical of the series and a horizontal view of the bat, you can quickly judge the batter's position, pitch type, destination, and runner's progress with just a few buttons. There is also a system to add helpers to the team, and it will be interesting not only to assemble the starting lineup, pinch hitters, and change pitchers, but also how to strengthen the team and compete in a long league.
