How to Play Famista '92
Quick start
For the first time, check batting and defense separately in practice mode. When you are at bat, use the cross keys to change your standing position, press A to swing, and press B to bunt. The pitcher uses direction +A to throw fastballs, slowballs, and left/right changes. On defense, follow the ball and use Direction+A to specify where to throw the ball. The runner advances with B and returns with A. When you move on to the regular game, try pinch hitting or pitching changes from the START time.
Controls
For batting, use the cross keys to adjust the batter's position, press A to swing, and press B to bunt. To pitch, use the D-pad to move the position and pitch, press A to throw, Up + A to throw a slow ball, left and right + A to bend, and Down + A to fastball. The defense throws the ball in direction +A, right = first base, top = second base, left = third base, bottom = home base. For base running, press B to advance, press A to return to base, and specify the target by using direction. START is time and player substitution.
Famista '92 — About this game
"Famista '92" is a series that has been updated for the 1992 version and allows you to enjoy easy baseball matches with teams and players. In addition to regular games, there is a practice mode where you can try out batting and defense individually, and you can step-by-step learn the batter position, ball bending, throwing direction, and runner designation that are unique to Famista. In games, he sets up ball speeds and changes depending on the position of the opposing batter, and uses bunts, advancing bases (including stolen bases), and pinch hits in his attacks, and converts rare opportunities into points.
