How to Play FIFA 2000
Quick start
Choose a team and a match. Start with short passes, move toward open space and take a shot only after creating a clear lane. When the ball is lost, bring a defender back between the attacker and goal.
Controls
The D-pad moves the active player and selects menus. A and B handle ball actions such as passing and shooting, or defensive actions when possession changes. A confirms menus, B returns where allowed and START opens the available pause screen.
FIFA 2000 — About this game
Watch the player receiving the next pass rather than following only the ball carrier. A sideways ball can open a route that was blocked a moment earlier. In defense, move between the opponent and goal before committing to a tackle. Learn the pace of a short match first, then use the available competition settings to build a longer run with your chosen team.
