How to Play FIFA Football 2004
Quick start
Choose Friendly from the Main Menu, select your team and opponent, choose both kits and review Team Management, then keep pressing A to start the match. Begin with FIFA controls, pass with B and use R only for short bursts because sustained sprinting causes fatigue; use L for a lob when a defender blocks the direct route.
Controls
Menus: D-pad highlights, A selects, B returns. Match: D-pad moves, R sprints, A shoots, B passes, L lobs and START pauses. With FIFA controls, A makes a conservative tackle, B switches player and L makes a hard tackle; Arcade controls can be selected in Control Options. Goalkeeper: D-pad aims, A kicks, B throws.
