How to Play Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Quick start
Select New Game and play through the opening snowball fight, which teaches facing, movement and actions. After St. Ivalice changes, follow Montblanc’s clan tutorial, visit the pub, accept the first mission and deploy units on the blue panels. Check the day’s laws before acting, attack from the side or rear when possible, and equip weapons long enough to master their abilities.
Controls
D-Pad: move the cursor. A: confirm, choose commands, and inspect the active unit. B: cancel or show a highlighted unit’s movement range. On the world map, L shows laws, R shows region information, START opens the system menu, and SELECT shows help. Before battle, L enters Field View, R opens unit details, START begins; during battle L uses the configured shortcut and START opens the system menu.
