How to Play Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade
Quick start
Select New Game and begin Chapter 1. Move Roy and his allies toward the castle gate, using Marcus to weaken dangerous enemies while Roy, Allen, Lance and Wolt earn experience. Keep units together, check enemy attack ranges before moving, trade healing items when needed, and finish by having Roy use Seize on the gate.
Controls
D-Pad: move the map cursor and select menu entries. A: confirm, select a unit, choose its destination and open commands. B: cancel and return the cursor to the active unit. L: jump to the next unit that can act. R: view unit, item or terrain details. START: overview map. SELECT: toggle help where supported. A+B+START+SELECT: soft reset.

This turn-based tactical role-playing game follows Roy across Elibe as he gathers allies, commands units on grid-based battlefields, and uncovers the truth behind Bern’s dragons. The title is Nintendo’s later official English name; it does not indicate a North American GBA release.
