How to Play Fisher-Price: Firehouse Rescue

Quick start

Select Game Play, choose Level 1, and press A to open the firehouse door. Follow the roads with the D-pad until you reach the flashing house. At the rescue view, move left or right until the ladder sits beneath the person or pet, then press A to bring them down. Return by the road maze. On Level 4, collect the flashing key with A before attempting the locked route.

Controls

D-pad Left/Right changes menu choices and positions the truck under a rescue target; all four D-pad directions drive along the road paths. A advances instructions, confirms the level, opens the firehouse door, lowers people or pets on the ladder, and collects the Level 4 key. START confirms Game Play/Instructions, exits instructions, and displays each new maze. B and SELECT are not used.

Fisher-Price: Firehouse Rescue — About this game

Fisher-Price: Firehouse Rescue is an early-childhood NES activity built around navigating and helping others. Choose one of four levels, leave the station, and drive the fire truck along an overhead road maze to the flashing emergency house. At the scene, position the truck beneath a person or pet and bring them safely down the ladder, then return to the station for the next call. Higher levels add larger connected maps, keys, extra route choices, and more rescues, teaching directional planning without combat or harsh penalties.
