How to Play Fleet Commander
Quick start
Select the mode using SELECT on the title and start with START. On the map, use the cross keys to select a fleet, press A to confirm, and move to the displayed range. The enemy will move with each move, so don't let isolated ships get ahead of you, and keep the distance between the searching enemy and your main force. Transport ships automatically head to the trade port and increase their economic value by 400 when they return, so escorting them is important.
Controls
Cross key: Cursor movement/command selection. A: Determined. B: Cancelled. Select: Game mode selection. Start: Start the game. The turn ends when you move all units on the map or select END.
Fleet Commander — About this game
"Fleet Commander" is a turn-based naval battle simulation where you lead the Proton Empire's fleet and fight against the Argon Allies. When you move one unit of a ship or carrier-based aircraft on the map, the enemy will also move, similar to a shogi game, and when you encounter an enemy, the game will switch to naval battle mode. You can win not only by annihilating the enemy fleet, but also by returning the transport ships to the port, protecting your country's economic value, and reducing the enemy's economic value to 2500 or less. It is characterized by the strategic nature of reading ship types, enemy searches, and supply lines all at once.
