How to Play Flying Warriors
Quick start
Choose Easy difficulty and Standard fighting controls for a first run. In journey scenes, move with Left and Right, jump with Up or A, and use B for kicks; keep moving rather than trading hits with groups. During a marked duel, wait until the indicator is on the opponent before attacking. When it shifts to your fighter, press the direction matching the marked height to guard; successful blocks build the K.O. gauge. Save Magic Water for low health, follow Gen's demonstrations, and learn the throw and hurricane kick before selecting Master mode.
Controls
Journey: D-pad Left/Right moves, Down crouches, and Up or A jumps; pressing A in the air attacks, while B kicks. Hold Up with A+B for a hurricane kick; SELECT uses Magic Water and START opens the sub-display. Duels retain those actions: attack only while the marker is on the opponent and defend while it is on you. Standard mode accepts a simplified guard; Master mode requires Up for high, Left/Right for middle, and Down for low. Direction+A punches and direction+B kicks during an attack turn.
Flying Warriors — About this game
Flying Warriors combines several distinct combat systems in one fantasy martial-arts adventure. Rick Stalker begins by fighting through side-scrolling journey stages, then recruits four more warriors to oppose Demonyx and the forces of the Dark Dimension. Regular enemies are handled with jumps, kicks, punches, and special techniques, while formal duels ask you to strike or guard the body position marked on screen. Later encounters also use command-based battles, transformations, equipment, spells, and character statistics. Choosing Standard controls makes the timing-based tournament fights easier to learn, while Master controls demand that every high, middle, and low attack or defense be entered accurately.
