How to Play Fossil Fighters: Champions
Quick start
Choose a hero and follow the opening rescue by Joe Wildwest. Pick one of his four vivosaurs and follow the first battle instructions against the wild Allosaurus. After arriving at Ribular Island, follow Todd north to the Fighter Station and register for the Cup. Stella's tour includes a practice cleaning lesson with a Tricera fossil; follow the tool explanations, then learn formations and rotation in the battle orientation. Excavation at Treasure Lake is introduced afterwards.
Controls
D-pad moves; A talks, confirms and swings the pickax. L/R activate sonar at dig sites. X opens the main menu and START the Save/Options menu outside cleaning. Choose cleaning tools by touch; use the microphone or repeated L/R to remove dust. In Champions, START can finish cleaning early successfully once the blue meter passes the required line. Touch battle commands, targets and rotation icons; rotating costs FP. B closes or cancels the relevant menu.
Fossil Fighters: Champions — About this game
Fossil Fighters: Champions builds its adventure around a tournament in the Caliosteo Fossil Park. Excavation and careful touch-screen cleaning still turn buried fossils into vivosaurs, but battles add effective attack ranges and team rotation. You can choose two attackers with one supporter or one attacker with two supporters, then consider where each creature will do the most damage. Rotating uses Fossil Power, so movement and attacks compete for the same resource. Cleaning adds Buster Points that let a sequence of accurate hammer strikes remove large sections of rock. Later supplies can reveal those points or restore cleaning time, while unusual large and two-sided rocks give collectors more to investigate.
