How to Play Frankenstein: The Monster Returns
Quick start
Move right from the village, jump over the first charging creatures, and punch the troll until it drops a club; pick it up with Down for safer reach. Use A to jump and B to attack, but fight from the edge of an enemy's range instead of trading hits. Climb walls or stairs with Up and drop from marked ledges with Down+A. Open chests and collect hearts or projectile upgrades whenever possible. Save the orange potion for real danger, and record the password shown after a stage so the next session can resume without replaying the entire route.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: move. Up: enter doors or climb; Down: pick up certain items or climb down. A: jump; A twice performs a jump kick. B: attack; Down+B ducks and swings, and Up+B uses a bomb or orange-gem attack when available. A+B attacks in the air. Down+A drops from certain ledges. SELECT drinks an orange potion. START pauses the game.

Frankenstein: The Monster Returns is a side-scrolling action adventure in which a young villager pursues the resurrected monster after it destroys the town and kidnaps Emily. The journey spans four long stages filled with forests, rivers, ruins, caves, and castles, with frequent confrontations against creatures drawn from horror and mythology. The hero begins with short-range punches but can collect clubs, slings, fire, bombs, and other projectile upgrades, along with hearts and potions that improve survival. Branches, walls, ledges, vines, and stairs require more than simple left-to-right movement, while passwords allow later stages to be resumed after a game over.
